The Everett Public Library is open. I have internet access again.
Don't know how long the good times are going to last. Yesterday I ran into an Everett 'homie', Robert Ferguson outside the City library. He walked up with:
"Hey, you got a joint?" (no)
"You got two dollars?" (no)
Then he had an emotional breakdown with yelling, cussing and fussing.
I've been homeless since November of 1994 (minus 7 months camping out in a subsidized appt in Interbay). I've been mugged a bunch of times for food stamps by staff (or former staff) of homeless shelters. Never have I panhandled. Never have I given money to panhandlers. Never has anyone ever mugged me (successfully) for cash.
I have a hunch that I'm likely to go to jail here in Everett on another assault charge. Just like in Seattle a year ago.
My 'homie', Robert has already gotten too many 'free-passes' from me with emotional breakdowns in public . I'm starting to take his tantrums personally. When someone is yelling at me and I can feel drops of moisture on my face..........
